The Garuda — the great golden-winged bird of Eastern mythology, said to be the divine transformation of the mythical Kunpeng — is the sovereign of all guardian spirits. As proclaimed by a revered Dharma Master: “To wear the image of the Garuda King is to be shielded from all adversity and harm. It is honoured as the foremost among all protector deities, symbolising supreme dominion over all directions.”
