Five-Pronged Vajra

The five-pronged vajra encodes a complete map of awakened intelligence. The central prong represents the primordial wisdom of dharmadhatu — the ground of all being. The four surrounding prongs curve inward, symbolising the four wisdoms returning to their source. Upper and lower ends are identical — the same five wisdoms present in the realm of Buddhas as in the realm of beings.

The shaft is adorned with lotus petals and pearl bands: four layers of eight petals represent the Four Paramitas and the Thirty-Seven Factors of Awakening; four corner pearls represent the four directional Buddhas, with a hidden central pearl representing Vairochana. The prong tips, cast in the form of makara or lion heads, number eight — symbolising the transformation of the eight consciousnesses into the four wisdoms.

Cross Vajra (Karma Vajra)

The Cross Vajra radiates its clearing frequency in all four directions simultaneously. It purifies karmic imprints and samaya violations, enables the accomplishment of both supreme and common siddhis, dissolves all obstacles without remainder, and causes all favourable conditions and wholesome roots to flourish. All enmity is resolved; all creditors appeased.

The vajra represents samadhi — unmoved, pervading the three realms vertically and the ten directions horizontally. Originating as a weapon of ancient India, it was transmuted into a dharma implement: its indestructible sharpness cuts through affliction, its diamond nature represents Buddha-wisdom — emptiness, suchness, and the clarity that cannot be obscured.

Six-Syllable Mantra Vajra — Om Mani Padme Hum

The Six-Syllable Mantra is the subtle heart-seal of Avalokiteshvara — possessing immeasurable, boundless, and inconceivable merit, praised by all Buddhas of the ten directions. To carry it is to carry the essence of the entire Tripitaka. Its recitation purifies karmic obstructions of the three lifetimes, liberates from birth and death, and leads to ultimate attainment.

It severs ignorance and opens wisdom, dispels calamity and extends life, increases wealth and relieves poverty, saves beings from a hundred thousand sufferings, and destroys greed, aversion, and delusion. It closes the gate of cyclic existence, liberates ancestors of all generations, and encompasses immeasurable samadhi and dharma gates — each day bringing the complete merit of the Six Paramitas. All vajra protectors, dharma guardians, and the eight classes of celestial beings rejoice in offering their protection.
